π€ What's the difference between the SimCompass and the SimGuardian?
The SimCompass is a simple (but far from generic π) setup for Notion beginners or Simmers who only want the essentials and a little extra direction for their stories. The SimGuardian is a much deeper, fully interconnected system for die-hard Type-A Simmers who want to track everything in a living archive. π₯
Both help you keep track of characters, relationships, households, places, goals, achievements, legacies and the stories unfolding in your savesΒ in a meaningful way.Β You get a complete experience with both. π
Choose the SimCompass for simplicity and storytelling support. Choose the SimGuardian for depth and a completely interconnected archive of your Sims worlds. β¨
Sometimes its easier to show than tell, so I've also made videos to help you choose the right one for you:

You can't go wrong with either one. Both were made by yours truly, an organization-obsessed Notion nerd with lots of love for detail and storytelling. π
SimGuardian: Living Archive & Save Management System for Serious Simmers
I have played The Sims since 2001.Β And like many story-focused players, I kept running into the same problem.
My saves contained years of characters, relationships and history. But too much of it lived only in my head. The game could remember a family tree but not the stories behind it.
The real problem is that everything I imagined had no real impact. It doesn't shape what my Sim does next, or how their kids turn out, or anything else really.
We pour our imagination into a world built to generate story, not save it, let alone connect the dots.
So I built the SimGuardian.
A system capable of holding not just what happened in my save, but connecting it all in a meaningful way and help shape what happens next. π

The SimGuardian is a Notion system that gives you one connected place to preserve the stories you play in your favorite life sim games and build upon them. So your saves start feeling like story worlds with meaning and consequence.
β¨ Built for saves that keep growing. Link, reference and view records and their details wherever they matter. Characters, relationships, memories, legacies and goals aren't just logged, they areΒ connected.
β¨ Your save becomes easier to return to. Even after a long break, you can return without losing the emotional thread of the story. You spend less time trying to remember. And more time making decisions that feel connected to everything that came before.
β¨ With lots of structure where everything has it's place, it's easy to keep track consistently.
