Oleana's Story
Oleana Arebalo has built her life around caring for others. Her dream has always been to become a mother but she can’t have children of her own. Instead, she fosters children in need and mothers half the neighborhood as well.
Oleana is the go-to person for emotional support and learning the ropes about knitting (and making a humble income from it). But under the warm exterior is a woman who’s constantly worn thin. She struggles to say no, to let things be good enough, and to stop fixing everyone else’s problems. She ultimately fears that if she’s not needed, she might stop mattering.
